My Background
I am a mixed-methods freelance social researcher with an inquisitive eye for insights in a range of sectors and projects.
My services include:
Qualitative and quantitative research
Survey design and data analysis
Data presentation
Report writing
Project management and design
I’ve worked across the country supporting research projects. Whether it’s notetaking focus groups in Manchester, interviewing event attendees in South London, or designing projects in Sheffield, I bring diverse experience and understanding to my work.
On top of this, my educational background brings together contemporary social theory with a strong interest in social trends.

2023 to 2024: Decolonial Thought and Social Theory MSc (University of Leeds, Distinction)
This degree focused on modern international sociological thought and British social life. My dissertation was a decolonial analysis of 1964 documentary The Colony, and I also explored British social inequalities and popular culture’s relationship to world politics.
2017 to 2021: Sociology and Politics BSc (Cardiff University, First-Class Honours)
My primary focus in this degree was on domestic inequalities, postcolonial theory, and popular culture. I wrote about the punk rock movement and the sociology of counterculture for my dissertation.
