PS Research

In February 2026 I provided part-time research assistance and support for a range of PS Research projects.

My work included conducting desk research, data entry, and data analysis in projects for Tameside Council and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

Howard Assembly Room

Working with culture consultants WaferHadley, I provided research support for market insight on behalf of Howard Assembly Room and Opera North.

This work involved mystery shopping and data collation to be presented to HAR stakeholders.

Breaking Barriers Rochdale

I am leading the evaluation of Breaking Barriers’ newest productions ‘Blind Side’ and ‘Crossing The Line’.

Exploring themes of violence against women and girls and county lines, the shows are performed across Tameside schools and aim to improve students’ awareness of social issues.

This work involves in-person work within schools, data analysis, and report writing to show the transformative effect of Breaking Barriers’ work.

Creswell Crags Heritage Trust

I am currently working with Creswell Crags Heritage Trust to enhance understanding of their visitor base and what they love about this vital historical site.

This work has involved analysis of quantitative survey data, working with over 750 respondents and bringing together bespoke insights on specific audiences.

From dog-walkers to history enthusiasts, my research was used to enhance a variety of visitor experiences and preserve Creswell Crags for future generations.

Culture Croydon

Working for Laura Crossley Consulting, I provided research project support and evaluative research for events hosted by Culture Croydon.

This research centred on engaging with the public and learning about their experiences of cultural events.

I conducted research for:

  • Gladi Gladi Festival

  • Open House Festival

  • Harvest Festival

  • Samuel Coleridge Taylor 150 Events

  • A Very Croydon Christmas

Fin vs. History Podcast

Delving into my academic background, I have created briefing materials for episodes of Fin vs. History, one of the UK’s most popular comedy podcasts.

The briefs contain historical information formatted into an easy-to-follow structure used during the recording of the podcast.

My research has been for episodes covering:

  • The history of the CIA

  • The premierships of Harold Wilson and Ted Heath

  • Pol Pot and Cambodia

Thinks Insight and Strategy

I have worked on a number of Thinks Insight and Strategy’s projects, providing administrative and research support.

These jobs have invovled diverse tasks, including in-person notetaking at large scale deliberative events and remote focus groups, interview transcription for annual surveys, and data and sample cleaning.
